Anette was born in a little town near Budapest in Hungary. She has been riding since childhood, largely thanks to her grandfather, who directed a riding centre near her home. She moved to Italy in 1991, settling in the Maremma, whose byways she has got to know in fine detail, largely on horseback.

At her stables she breeds Maremma horses.

She's a Tuscan Region certified equestrian guide, a qualified FISE Riding Instructor and an advisor for Equitourism, or horseback holidays.

She has also been involved in training and schooling Maremma mares and stallions.
